L'ENEA organizza il prossimo 10 giugno il webinar “I sistemi Agroalimentari alla sfida della Sostenibilità nell’ottica della Circolarità e del One Health” quale momento di approfondimento e condivisione sulla sostenibilità dei sistemi agroalimentari, per valorizzarne le eccellenze, superare le criticità e rafforzarne la qualità e la competitività.

FAO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in July 2018 with the Italian Research Institutions: the National Research Council (CNR); the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA); the National Agency for New Technologies, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA); and the Italian Institute for Environmental Research and Protection (ISPRA). The overarching objective of the cooperation between FAO and CNR, CREA, ENEA and ISPRA is the promotion of sustainability at large in the context of joint efforts for achieving the Agenda 2030.

The METROFOOD-PP 1st Project Progress Meeting took place on line, via Adobe Connect.  The METROFOOD-PP Management Committee members, with their deputies and other colleagues, were due to gather in Freising, Germany, for the 1st Project Progress meeting to be organised by TUM. But, as with many meetings and events, the plans were changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Therefore, once it became clear that it was neither possible, nor safe, to travel and meet in person, the meeting was moved on-line.

In un’intervista, il nostro ricercatore Flavio Caretto del Laboratorio PROMAS di Brindisi, ci racconta il progetto “EcoCarbonio”, un ottimo esempio di come riciclare uno scarto sia non solo possibile ma anche vantaggioso per l’industria.

Dal mondo della ricerca una soluzione green per assicurare il corretto distanziamento sulle spiagge nella fase post-emergenza COVID-19. L’idea è di utilizzare la Posidonia oceanica, una pianta marina che si deposita in grandi quantitativi sugli arenili mediterranei, per realizzare barriere di sicurezza ecologiche.

This is why the PULVIRUS research project was started, raising from the scientific alliance between ENEA,
