La Sezione coordina le attività dipartimentali dedicate allo sviluppo e implementazione di soluzioni innovative per la Urban Transition verso città più sostenibili, resilienti e circolari, con particolare riferimento alle Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) e alle infrastrutture verdi, tra cui foreste e parchi urbani, tetti e pareti verdi, corridoi verdi, giardini della pioggia, giardini condivisi, orti e frutteti urbani, oasi urbane di biodiversità, rinaturalizzazione aree degradate, buone pratiche per la gestione del verde urbano e dell’acqua piovana.

Department for Sustainability
The Section assists the Director of the Department in carrying out its functions in relations with the Divisions of the Department, with the other Departments, with the Executive Bodies and with the outside of the Agency.
The Section supports the Department in coordinating and fostering circular economy activities, aimed at the efficient use of resources and the eco-innovation of products, processes and systems. To this end, it provides an integrated and systemic vision in order to enhance planning and dissemination of knowledge and good practices regarding circular economy and foster dialogue with the main players (local, national and international).
The Service deals with the definition and finalization of active contractual relationships in collaboration with the Department Director and the Heads of the departmental Units and of the other Agency Units.
The Service manages all the processes established between ENEA and suppliers for the acquisition of goods and services in collaboration with the Department Director and the Heads of the departmental Units and of the other Agency Units.
