IMEKO TC 23 "Metrology in Foods and Nutrition” & EUROLAB organize the 6th IMEKOFOODS Conference, which will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 7 – 9 November 2022 in hybrid version, with possibility of remote participation.The topic of this 6th edition is "Food on a global market – opportunities and threats”. All scientists and professionals in the food area are welcome to the conference and present their achievements in food production and processing, food testing and inspection in laboratories, control agencies as well as in health institutes active in ensuring food safety and quality. The conference is promoted by METROFOOD-RI, with the partecipation of Claudia Zoani, researcher at the ENEA Biotechnology and Agroindustry Division, who will present a poster dedicated to the new project METROFOOD- IT entitled: " Strengthening of the italian RI for Metrology and Open Access Data in support to the Agrifood", financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) while Annamaria Bevivino - Head of AgriFood Sustainability, Quality and Safety Laboratory of ENEA  will present, during the session functional foods and food processing, the oral communication "Effects of beneficial microbial consortia and biochar application on rhizosphere biodiversity and maize growth: The SIMBA Project"  - Bevivino A., Fiore A., Hett J., Caldara M., Cangioli L., Maestri E., Aprea G., Ambrico A., Magarelli A., Trupo M., Gullì M., Graziano S., Ercole E., Mengoni A., Daniel Neuhoff D., Marmiroli N., Pihlanto A., Brunori A.
